Basic Science Workshop

Join in the 2025 ASA Basic Sciences Workshop (BSW) to share your expertise and learn from your colleagues!

The BSW is organized in every other year when the annual ASA meeting is not held in conjunction with the North American Testis Workshop. The upcoming BSW will run on the 29th of March 2025 from 8:30 to 14:30 with two sessions. One session features tools and biology of preserving haploid and diploid male germ cells. The other focuses on state-of-the-art techniques to ensure optimal sperm quality and offspring potential. The program is currently under development; we plan to highlight recent developments of experimental techniques that can bridge from basic biology to clinical and practical applications.

Please keep your eyes out for our announcements in the coming weeks for more detailed program and registration procedures.

We encourage participation of trainees, junior PIs, clinicians, technical professionals, and established PIs who want to expand their knowledge or share their experience related to the workshop themes. With this year’s meeting being joint between ASA and ISA, we extend this invitation to researchers who attend the meeting from non-English-speaking regions. It will be a wonderful occasion to build a global network for future collaborations!

We are looking forward to meeting you there!
